About Us

CareerLife Nigeria is a social initiative aimed at helping young graduates and professional achieve measurable career growth. We do that by bridging the knowledge gap of unemployed job-seekers and young professionals. We are interested in the entire life cycle of people’s career by providing them with insights and coaching to help them grow in their career.

Our Story

The Founder, Yewande Jinadu is a Chemical Engineering Graduate who struggled with interviews. She was a typical graduate who went through sad and frustrating moments with her jobsearch. Unemployment is a big issue that most graduates struggle with but feel they don’t have a chance because they are not connected to a “BIG UNCLE” in high places. That motivated the founder to explore human resources as a career path. Having been at both sides of the table and seeing the genuine struggle of young graduates, she decided to do something about it. She decided to be the partner and mentor they need to help them achieve their career objective.

It started informally in August 2016 as HR Naija Blog (hrnaijablog.wordpress.com) where she wrote articles on the blog and on BellaNaija consistently and trained graduates through various online groups. Over the years, the impact grew and the testimonies of various trainings and coaching sessions increased greatly.

CareerLife Nigeria was fully birthed in April 2018. It started with a full-fledged Information hub for jobseekers and young professionals to grow their career. It also opened up on various social platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It continued with online coaching for jobseekers and young professionals to take them from where they are to where they would like to be in their career.
